Designer Jean-Paul Gaultier has always been inspired by global beauty and the richness of tribal cultures—and his Spring/Summer 2010 Haute Couture collection, shown yesterday at Paris Fashion Week, was no exception. An Aztec fantasy infused with hints of Africana, the collection brought Paris to it's knees. Here, Dominican supermodel Sessilee Lopez rocks the runway in an artfully shredded evening gown and elaborate headdress.
Senegalese stunner Mia Niara glides down the runway in a plunging, cocoa-brown gown and a floral headpiece decorating her regal cornrows.
